Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) is a system that integrates company information and business processes. The system covers all core business aspects such as sales, procurement, stock management, human resource, customer relationship management, accounting and many more.
Using fully integrated data, business leaders can focus on making the right decisions to reach success. Keep reading to find out the detailed features of our ERPNext implementation enhanced with our Advanced Modules.
An Enterprise Resource Planning system consists of all the required modules to run a business of any size. At Agile Technica we use ERPNext as our basic platform as it is very modern, customizable, and has all the basic needs. We understand that every company are different, therefore we implement ERPNext tailored to your company by customization and building custom modules and reports where required. If you require something specific that you cannot find in the market, feel free to contact us as customization is our specialization.
Below is a listing of some of the Core ERP Modules that we offer.
The selling module is one of the core modules of ERPNext. This module allows you to manage the sales process through the system. Starting from generating Sales Order, Sales Invoice into creating Delivery Note when you ship your products. The full lifecycle of sales in your organization is covered by the system.
On the back of the selling processes, there is also the integrated accounting system and inventory system. Every action that you do in relation to sales will be synchronized with the correct accounting ledgers and entries as well as synchronized with the perpetual inventory system. All payments that you receive will also be managed in the system.
The selling module also allows you to create as many items as you like, track items using serial numbers and create different kinds of promotions.
Of course, any feature in ERPNext will not be complete without its analytical suite. The selling module comes pre-loaded with important reports such as: sales analytics, sales funnel, ordered items to be delivered, item sales history, sales order trends, lead, customer report, and many more. In addition, if you need a specific report, we’ll be able to build it for you.
The purchasing module is another core of the ERP system. Every company regardless of the size will need to manage purchasing to keep the business moving. Through this purchasing/buying module, you can manage the lifecycle such as purchase order, purchase invoice, purchase receipt, and payment entry all integrated within one system.
This means each purchase orders will have complete records in the system that you can analyze and trace through. Purchasing is also linked with accounting and the perpetual inventory system. All accounting data such as accounts payable, payment, terms of payments are all integrated into the journals and ledgers, so the record keeping will always be crisp and clean. Also, all stock movements such as goods received and goods returned will be recorded in the stock ledger. This is so that your stock movement is always tracked in detail.
The purchasing/buying module comes pre-loaded with useful reports such as purchase analytics, order trends, requested items to be purchased, and many more. As usual, we can also build any custom reports or analytics that you need.
The ERPNext accounting module is the core of the system if you want to use the ERP to its full potential. While it’s possible to use only a portion of the system that does not depends fully on accounting such as HR or custom modules, we highly recommend a full integration using the Accounting system.
All standard accounting features and practices are already included in this system. These include Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Payment Entries, Cost Centers, Accounting Dimension, Bank Reconciliation, Payment Reconciliations, Period closing, Different payment methods, and many more.
By using a fully integrated system like this, you don’t have to switch to a lot of different applications to manage your business. You can manage everything from any devices, anywhere, anytime. For further information on how the accounting module works, please contact us here.
The ERPNext Human Resource module comes with a complete package that you can use as soon as the initial setup is completed. This initial setup and customization if there are any is included in our project. Therefore when you start using the system, the Human Resource module we have would already set it up according to your business needs.
This module includes employee management, payroll, leave management, timesheet, employee appraisal, attendance, expense claims, and many other areas concerning your Human Resource (People and Culture) management. Feel free to chat with us regarding Human Resource system.
This module is used to manage your company’s sales process. Using customer relationship management, you’ll be able to track leads, opportunities, customers, contacts, and addresses. Using the data collected through the process you can then generate sales funnel analysis, which can you use to measure and improve the effectiveness of your sales force.
In addition to the sales funnel, you’ll be able to report on other analytics such as sales pipelines and opportunities by lead source. Other reports such as the prospects engaged but not converted, inactive customers, and lost opportunities can also be generated to analyze and improve your sales conversions further. CRM is an important aspect of a business, so let’s chat to see how we can help.
Manufacturing module is one of the largest specialized modules in ERPNext. The module is not solely used by manufacturing companies. In fact, we have done implementations for construction companies that use the Bill of Material feature of this module quite extensively.
This module allows you to set up all the master data such as warehouse structures, workstations or machines, operations, items as raw materials, and routings (for when the same operations are used to build different products). All these master data are then used to execute the manufacturing processes.
Further activities are then managed using these documents: Bill of Materials, Work Order, Job Card, and Production Plan. Through those features, your company will be able to manage its manufacturing efficiently and accurately. All of the manufacturing processes are integrated directly to the inventory system, raw materials are deducted from the stock automatically and produced products are all added to the stock automatically.
Our ERP Supports multi-level bills of materials. Which means that each Bill of Materials can depend on other Bill of Materials for its raw materials. This is especially useful for building construction businesses where this Bill of Material system can be used to create detailed costing.
If your company is not in the manufacturing or construction business, the Bill of Materials can also be used to create a packaged item or to repack bulk items. As an example, if you bought a 100 meters cable, you can use the Bill of Materials to create 1 meters cables in 100 quantities.
There are many ways to benefit from using this module. So talk to us to discuss how we can help you.
One of the most common business problems in retail and distribution is inventory management, there are countless scenarios where stock items go missing or damaged and not tracked in the system. Inventory problems can lead to unexpected losses and missed opportunities. Imagine if there is large order from a customer and you think there is enough stock but in reality there is none, then this is a big problem, especially if this happens consistently.
The ERPNext inventory system is using a perpetual inventory system where every stock movement is tracked in the stock ledger records. This means all stock changes can be traced through the system. In addition, the stock reconciliation feature will help you ensure that your system is in sync with your physical stock. If there is a surplus or shortage of the physical stock, then the asset value differences will be recorded in the correct accounting journals automatically. In addition, each purchase receipt and delivery note will also automatically update the stock recordings.
We have plenty of experience in dealing with inventory systems, feel free to discuss with us how we can help your business improve even further.
The project management module allows you to manage your projects from different perspectives. Each project has its own budgets, costs and tasks. Everything that you need to make sure that a project is finished on time and on budget is here in the project management module.
The time tracking component of this module is very integrated. Salary slips from the timesheet, sales invoices from the timesheet, and activities all can be booked against a project. Which in turn can be used to manage the running costs of a project. Finally, a profit or loss report can also be filtered by the project so that you know whether a project is making money or not.
This module’s flexibility allows a project manager to use either a Gantt chart or Kanban or just by simple listing to visualize their project. In addition, task dependencies can be managed here too. Project is an important aspect in a lot of companies to manage costs and profits, so discuss with us how we can help you out.
ERPNext will help you take care of the following important things:
In this time of remote work away from the office, tracking of assets becomes very important especially if the company lends equipment to their team members.
Proper asset management will lead to healthier company finances. If you wish to discuss further, simply book a free appointment for a 15mins video call (might be longer if we have interesting conversations).
Countries like Indonesia relies heavily on their products such as egg and poultry meat. This is why we develop a custom solution that will help farmers realize their full potential. In order to build this highly sophisticated module, we consult with industry experts as well as work together with our customers.
As a result, customers who use this module are able to record in detail their egg production recording, DOC (Day Old Chicken) to pullet growth recording, Sales of the products, and many more. These recordings are then used for further analysis, enabling our customers to optimize their operations and detect inefficiencies much earlier.

Here are some of the benefits that you can feel if you use our ERP System :
ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) is a system that integrates company information and business processes conducted digitally. Our implementation is always cloud-based, therefore you have your business at your fingertips, anytime, anywhere.
Therefore, as a leader or a business owner, even if you are away it will be possible to monitor the state of your business at any time. This is especially important during a time like this during the COVID-19 pandemic where most businesses are separated and unable to work in the same location as they would normally.
Using an integrated ERP means that people with the right access will be able to input any data directly into the system from anywhere. These data recordings will be done in an integrated manner, therefore each step of your business process will use existing data. This will reduce manual work, duplication of data, and potential human errors.
As an example, in a retail scenario, the salesperson can input sales orders directly into the system. All the sales items will be loaded from the system to speed up the process. Then the billing department can generate invoices directly from those sales orders, minimizing human errors. When the customers pay the invoice, the payment record will be automatically linked to the right invoice, sales order along with all the correct accounting (general ledger) records.
Using an integrated system means reducing double work, human errors, and having the ability to generate reports at any given time.
ERPNext is an integrated ERP System which means all the relevant data in the system is interconnected with each other. As an example, when making a new sales invoice, the system automatically creates the right accounting journals. This minimizes the need to do manual accounting and reduces the chances of human errors.
Having integrated data means having fully integrated history too. This feature makes business audits much easier. Each action in the system will have a history of what changes when the changes happen and who made the changes.
An integrated ERP is a must-have for a business that wants to grow rapidly. Let’s discuss how ERPNext can help with scaling up your business.
As we discussed previously, all the data within the ERP is integrated with complete historical records. Therefore, doing business analysis is easier than ever. Using the ERPNext report builder, you can build your own report for any documents within the system, such as Sales Order, Sales Invoice, Stock Balance, Accounts Receivable, and many more.
If the default reports (which there are hundreds of) are not enough, then we can build the custom reports for you. Simply discuss with us what kind of reports that you need to analyze your business.
In addition to the in-build reporting system, it’s also possible to integrate ERPNext with advanced data analytics tools such as Tableau or MetaBox.
One of the advantages of having an online integrated ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system is being able to assess your risk and cost. This can be done through effective data analysis as we discussed above. Examples of risk management are: reports of accounts receivable aging, analysis of project cost through both tasks and employee timesheets, stock level reports, and many more. Just in time risk assessment can only be done in a company with a great integrated ERP system.
In a business, especially in retail and agriculture, inventory tracking is very important. The number of losses due to improper inventory tracking can be very high. These losses can occur from missing goods, damaged goods, human errors in recording, and many more. Using an ERP (powered by ERPNext), the business inventory will be tracked using a perpetual inventory system. This means all inventory/stock movements are recorded in real-time in the stock journal. You will be able to track accurate information such as the reason for the stock movement, reference documents such as sales order, sales invoice, deliver notes.
This way, improper stock recording and loss of stock can be minimized. And should during stocktake (stock opname) we found discrepancies with the system, tracing the history is simple thanks to the chronological records.
